1. What is the Big Deal program?

The Big Deal program is an opportunity to showcase specific, heavily discounted products on eBay.com.au. The Big Deal program differentiates from everything else across the site. A significant discount for a limited time plus free postage helps to differentiate The Big Deal.

2. What are the benefits to seller? A prime position on the homepage advertising your product and user ID and linking through to your Store Potential to drive a large number of buyers to your deal listing Build brand recognition and repeat business Cross merchandising to drive additional sales Offload stock quickly Drive additional traffic through excitement and word of mouth 3. What are the costs? The promotion on the homepage is a prime placement. For a limited time eBay is giving you the opportunity to promote your listing on the Home and Deals pages for no additional costs beyond existing Listing and Final Value Fees.

4. What are the seller eligibility guidelines?

Seller status and feedback rating

• Power Seller status preferred
• Store owner
• Last 30 days cumulative Detailed Seller Rating (DSR) of 4.7 or more

Service factors

• Submit a minimum of 3 deals
• Preferably show a variety of products to demonstrate a range of items available
• Ideally provide the item at least 35% below Recommended Retail Price (RRP). The absolute minimum is 20% below RRP for each deal
• New items only – though refurbished items with warranty will be considered
• Fixed Price, Multi quantity
• Supply on hand, minimum 50 units offered (lower quantities may be considered for items >$200). Larger quantities are given preference in selection 
• Free postage and Ship within 2 days
• Quality photos - without store branding or watermark 
• Return Policy clearly stated

5. I meet the eligibility guidelines, what do I do now?

If you have an Account Manager, contact them in the first instance. They will provide you with additional information about how to start the process of featuring on the Big Deal.

If you do not have an Account Manager AND you meet all of the eligibility guidelines above, email chaseg@ebay.com with:

• Your User ID
• Current feedback percentage
• Current Detail Seller Rating (DSR) score
• Link to your eBay Store

For each deal you are offering:

• The eBay category of your deal
• Item name (include Brand and Model)
• Item description
• eBay Item number (if available)
• Quantity available
• Deal price (AU$)
• Recommended Retail Price (RRP) - please source from the manufacturer's website or comparison shopping site and include URL
• Percentage saving
• Postage service offered (must be free to buyer)

We will review your selling account and deal items. You will then be advised if you are offered a placement for the Big Deal.

These are guidelines and do not constitute automatic qualification for the Big Deal. eBay reserves the right in its discretion to choose the items that feature in the Big Deal. eBay may modify these guidelines at any time.
