Immediate payment means instant reassurance. Here's why:

'Immediate payment' is a free feature on all Buy It Now listings.
By requesting 'Immediate payment', you'll avoid unpaid items.
Payment is requested immediately after a buyer selects the 'Buy It Now' button
Your listing doesn't officially end untill the Payment is confirmed.

When you list an item on eBay.com.au, you need to tick the 'Immediate payment' option for Auctions with Buy It Now prices, standard But It Now prices or Store listings.

Choosing this option means that the buyer is required to pay immediately via PayPal to secure the item and end the listing. Until the payment is confirmed, the listing will remain active and available to other buyers. It's a real incentive for buyers to act quickly and make sure they get their item.
