Australia Post Domestic Click and Send

Australia Post now has a new online postage tool Click and Send that allows you to prepare all your postage documentation online.  By linking your eBay account with your new Click and Send account you can automatically import all your item details into Click and Send to help save time when preparing sold items for postage. If you’re sending lots of the same item, or multiple items to the same address, you can access this information at the click of a button, instead of having to re-type it again and again.

To use Click and Send and link your eBay account, click on the “Send Now” link from My eBay and follow the instructions to sign up for a FREE Click and Send account.

Once you have signed up you’ll will also have access to the following benefits: 

Tracking

All domestic products and Express International parcels prepared through Click and Send will have a unique identification number on the address label that will allow you to track your delivery online. For Parcel Post (regular parcels) items an additional service fee will apply. For greater security and peace of mind you can also request that Australia Post capture a signature on delivery.
 

Messenger Post Courier pickups

You can pay for your postage online and book  a same business day, next Business Day or schedule a Next Business Day timed pickup of your item (pickup charges apply).

Proof of shipment

Registered users of Click and Send can generate email notifications for all domestic and Express international parcels prepared through Click and Send.  This email contains the buyers address details, the date the shipment was prepared and a link to the Australia Post tracking site and is specially designed to satisfy PayPal’s proof of postage requirements.

Import addresses

Each time you type in a new address, you can save it to your address book. Or, even more conveniently, you can import a file from you existing database and it will instantly populate your address book. From there, you just need to click on the relevant address anytime you are sending an item, and it will automatically populate the necessary fields.

Import Postage data

If you already have your postage information in a spreadsheet or in another sales system, you can use the Import Wizard to import the entire spreadsheet into Click and Send, and it will automatically produce the required documentation.

Generate detailed, customised reports

You can create reports accessing delivery data as far as three months back, which is perfect for keeping internal audit records about what has been sent. These reports are customised and can be viewed onscreen, or exported so you can use them as required. You can also run the reports as required, or set to run on a regular basis and be emailed to you.

Send email pre-alerts to let customers know their item is on the way

Click and Send emails you the full details about your transactions each time you use it. If you would like to inform your customers that their items are on the way, you can use the “email notification” tab to set up this handy function. Emails can be prepared in five different languages.
