During the week commencing 7 February, eBay will be making some improvements to the category structure to help simplify the structure and to avoid duplication with the Item Specifics on the Create your listing page.
The major changes include:
- Business, Industrial beeing split into two categories - one named Business, and one named Industrial
- Fashion has been renamed to Clothing, Shoes, Accessories
Most of the improvements will not require sellers to take any action, but it is recommended that you check your listings to ensure they are still being listed in the appropriate categories.

From Early March eBay will launch the Unpaid Item Assistant (UPI Assistant) which will automatically open and close cases for you according to your specifications. This improvement reduces the time a seller needs to spend reviewing payments, sending reminders and opening cases. It also automatically credits a seller their fees when the case is closed in their favour.
