Changes to the Classifieds listing format
On 14 April 2012, eBay.com.au retired the Classifieds with Best Offer format across most categories. eBay also made some changes to the Real Estate category.
Classifieds with Best Offer format was introduced as a free local pickup-only option for casual sellers. However, with the introduction of free insertion fees for up to 30 listings a month for auction and fixed price listings, retiring Classifieds with Best Offer helps to simplify how you sell on eBay.com.au.
Classified listings are still available in the following categories:
- Business > Businesses for Sale > Franchises
- Cars, Bikes, Boats > Aircraft
- Cars, Bikes, Boats > Boats
- Cars, Bikes, Boats > Caravans, Motorhomes
- Cars, Bikes, Boats > Cars
- Cars, Bikes, Boats > Motorcycles
- Cars, Bikes, Boats > Trucks, Commercial Vehicles
- Home & Garden > Real Estate
- Services
In order to align with how people buy and sell Real Estate, we have removed the Buy It Now and Auction formats from the Real Estate category. The Real Estate category now only allows listings in the Classified Ads format.
